Canadian artist, Lucille Crighton, creates award winning, hand woven jackets, vests and scarves using a wide range of weaving techniques. Contemporary rag-woven material, in which fabric is sliced apart and reassembled during the weaving, adds depth and texture to the clothing.

Lucille uses the computer as a designing tool for multi fibre fabrics, allowing her to weave complicated sixteen shaft yardage. She hand dyes silk and wool yarns before weaving some of her fabrics and also weaves felted boiled wool garments.

Lucille teaches fabric design, colour and style weaving throughout North America where she also sells her creative classic styles.
