Born
in Edmonton in 1937, Jerry Heine studied art at
the University of Alberta and the Northern Alberta
Institute of Technology. He is a member of the
Alberta Society of Artists, the Federation of
Canadian Artists. Presently, he instructs watercolour
painting at the University of Alberta, Faculty
of Extension. Heine creates his impressive watercolours
with confidence; skillfully controlling colour
and light to give the illusion of movement and
depth in his landscapes and florals.
His work can be found in numerous public and private
collections.
